Frequently asked questions
Pilates Flow is a boutique reformer and mat Pilates studio at ul. Grabiszyńska 200B in Wrocław (Grabiszyn district). The studio was founded in 2023 by Anna Szczerba and Patrycja Wyrzyńska. We run small group classes, private and duet sessions, and Body Art classes.
Yes. Most of our clients start with no previous experience. In your first class the instructor explains how the reformer works from scratch, and groups of up to 4 people mean every movement can be corrected. You do not need to be fit or flexible to begin.
We recommend the reformer for beginners. The springs guide the movement and help you feel which muscles should be working, so good technique builds faster. Mat classes are more demanding because your body does all the stabilising on its own. A good combination is 2 reformer classes and 1 mat class per week.
A maximum of 4 people on reformers and 6 on mats. This lets the instructor see everyone and correct alignment during the class.
Group and private sessions last 55 minutes. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you have time to change.
A single group class costs 110 PLN, a 4-class pass 390 PLN, an 8-class pass 680 PLN and a 10-class pass 790 PLN. A private session is 210 PLN and a duet session 150 PLN per person. Body Art: 89 PLN per class or 316 PLN for 4 classes. Full price list: pilatesflow.pl/en/price-list.
The 4- and 6-class passes are valid for 30 days from purchase, the 8-class pass for 45 days and the 10-class pass for 60 days. Private passes: 5 sessions for 30 days, 10 sessions for 60 days.
Bookings are made online through the Fitssey system, available on the Class schedule page. After creating an account you choose a time, buy a single entry or a pass and reserve your spot. You can also call +48 514 854 845.
Yes, up to 24 hours before the class starts. The entry is then returned to your account and you can use it within your pass. Cancelling less than 24 hours before the class means the entry is lost.
Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers and the Wunda Chair, plus props such as balls, foam rollers, magic circles and resistance bands. Equipment is disinfected after every class.
Comfortable sportswear without buttons, snaps or zips, so the reformer upholstery is not damaged. You will need grip socks with a non-slip sole, which you can buy at the studio. We train without shoes.
Regular Pilates strengthens the deep abdominal and back muscles that stabilise the spine and improves posture, which is why many people notice less lower back pain. If you have chronic pain or a past injury, we recommend starting with a private session and consulting your doctor or physiotherapist.
Yes. Pilates strengthens the core, improves hip and shoulder mobility and supports recovery after strength training and running. Read more in our post Man doing Pilates.
